rescue and is the main contact for SHCA rescue west of the Rockies. She puts
out a monthly newsletter called "Update". This lists dogs available for
adoption. Those listing dogs pay a listing fee of $10 and the dog will stay on
the list until adopted. There is no charge for foster homes to list. It also
lists pounds and local SPCA's that have Siberians available.

- "Max" -- Male, black and white, blue eyes, 6 to 8 years old, neutered. No health issues. He is NOT good with small dogs or cats and is NOT housetrained. Because of that he has been confined to the back property and his crate most of his life. Max needs to go to a home/rescue that will work with him and give him the loving care he deserves.

- Two Siberians. Owner is moving and it is impossible to take the dogs. The owner would prefer that the dogs NOT be separated.
- "Zorro" -- Male, black and white, blue eyes, “very young” 9. Has the personality of a lab and "speaks English" fluently. Will almost never bark – but will ask for food, water or to go outside.
- "Cali" -- Female, red and white, amber eyes, 4 to 5 years old, spayed. Excellent health, current on shots. Good temperament. She too will ask for food, etc., but either her vocabulary isn’t as large or she’s just a bit more stubborn. She is more playful / active but is also very “cuddly”, at night especially.
Owner is being relocated out of state and it’s impossible to take the “kids”. They need to stay together if at all possible. Owner would prefer someone who likes to walk or jog. They are also incredible with children. They are both healthy and fully up to date on their shots with no medical issues. The owner asks that you only respond if you are a serious, experienced, dog owner with a good home and time to walk the dogs. The current owner will insist on a home check.

- FOUND: Female, black and white, brown eyes, can't be older than a year. A bit timid at first, but sweet, loving and loyal once she gains your love and trust. She has been wandering around the poster's house for weeks and she feels like she either ran away, or by how timid she was at first, was possibly mistreated. If you are patient, she warms up with ease.

- "Sadie" -- Female, light red and white, blue eyes, 9 to 12 years old, spayed. Arthritis in front left paw and leg. Great with kids, does not do well with other dogs for long periods of time, DOES NOT LIKE CATS. Owner lost his job and moved in with his sister in military housing. She has two dogs, which is the limit, and housing has imposed a strict breed limitation on her.

Owner recently injured, cannot provide the exercise Nala needs. She can be destructive if not exercised or if left alone. She does well with other dogs and children.
 NOT desensitized to cats, will chase them. Some training, will speak (bark), sing (howl), will stay on leash (learning not to pull). About a 60% return on "Come". - "Coral" -- Female, red and white, blue eyes, 2 to 3 years old, spayed. Healthy. Shy and guards her food and toys. (Probably best not to have her around kids.). Brought over from Taiwan. Has been at the Academy of Canine Behavior for several months. She has some serious trust issues.

- "Kenai" -- Female, light red and white, woolly coated, blue eyes, 6 to 8 years old, spayed. Healthy. Very sweet and good with children. Chases animals. She is a runner and has no training. She belonged to the son who got a divorce and has no yard of his own. Her new family travels extensively and are not able to tackle the training
she needs.
 They cannot keep her at their home as they live next to the national forest where she chases the wildlife. She is excellent on leash, but really wants to go FASTER than the current owner can manage. Needs a fenced yard or a jogger. Can be a "counter surfer" in the kitchen. She is incredibly sweet and very patient with small children (until
she
can get away). She will
only come to the owner when she calls her and is standing alone. Sudden movements
will make her shy away. Not like she was hurt but like she is very
fast and doesn't obey if she doesn't want to. (Or she thinks you
are going to tie her up.) She loves to ride in the truck but doesn't
like to sit alone in it for long periods of time. This is a dog who
